lol It should work fine.

Try right clicking on Rainlendar and clicking on refresh or when installing double click in the skin.

One more thing is to check if it is in C:\Documents and Settings\*****\.rainlendar2\skins

Where the ***** are should be your username.

Let me know when you get it working.

I have just reuploaded the file incase it was corrupted on the upload.

You don't need to unzip the file.

After downloading you should have a file called StaticaMod.r2skin it should be recognised as a rainlendar filetype and have a pad/pencil icon.

Just double click on StaticaMod.r2skin and it should in stall.

Check you have the latest version of Rainlendar.

I dont see how the StaticaMod.r2skin changes to StaticaMod.zip ?

When you create/edit a skin you change the filetype from zip to r2skin but I have already done that as you can see from the link, it ends .r2skin

Okies figure it out, For some reason when I click on the download link it would save as just StaticaMod and thats all, So I added .r2skin and it downloaded the way it should have....so problem fixxed....Thanxs again for this....

Bonjour !

Sorry I don't speak French but I guess you have asked about changing the clock to 24h and not 12 ?

I have just updated the skin so it now displays in 24h (which is better in my opinion). If you re-download the skin now it will work.

Rename the .r2skin filetype to .zip
unzip it and and look in the xml folder for digital_clock.xml file and change it to this to add seconds.

[skin]
<window id="Digital Clock" w="300" default="1">

<time x="0" y="0" align="TOP-LEFT" element="hud.font.clock" color="255,255,255,50" format="%H:%M:%S"/>
<time x="0" y="60" align="TOP-LEFT" element="hud.font.date" color="255,255,255,50" format="%d" />
<time x="80" y="68" align="TOP-LEFT" element="hud.font.month" color="255,255,255,50" format="%B"/>
<time x="80" y="102" align="TOP-LEFT" element="hud.font.day" color="255,255,255,50" format="%A"/>

[/window]
[/skin]

Once changed zip it all back up and change the filetype back from .zip to r2skin.

Hope this helps.

Not fully now.
Here are some pics:

There you can see which windows are effected, also where it says "Monday next week 16.11.2009.", you can see how it overlaps.

Just to confirm my settings:

Now, I was able to edit some of the XML files, and I came up with this:

http://www.maleko.co.uk/files/temp/rl03.
jpg

I was able to get the Countdown window matching, although it doesn't ever dock close to other windows if you can see. Also removed the date next to "Monday next week" so it didn't overlap, I did try making the window wider, but looked too wide, and I couldn't get the other windows to match.
Also didn't edit the moonphase as I don't use it.

Hope you didn't mind that big post!
Thanks for the skin though, my fave!

Not sure about why the countdown is not working, the skin uploaded is the one I use. I can't think of anything I missed in the xml files but it is very possible as im no coder !

To change the "Monday next week" bit I think I changed these settings

brcu/event.png

I don't use moonphase either but I left it in as it was part of the add-on pack from the Rainlendar site.

I did want to add a second countdown window but I think it is beyond my limited coding ability !

Thanks for the kind feedback.
