Artist's Note
Well, taking hints from my previous submission, I tried for a cohesive theme. Oddly enough, "cohesive theme" ended up being "threndy^60"... oh well, I think it looks good. Running blackbox for windows (on top of explorer), winamp3 with assmosis (colorized), wallpaper is Fail by precursor (I think?), and the icons are from LINEstudio. On a final note, I can't find a Trillian 0.71 skin that matches, so I left it out.

This is the most minimalistic theme I have EVER seen. Damn fine job. I love minimalism. And using a wallpaper from precurser, my hero artist. =)

Minimalism isn't always defined by whats on the background. It's defined by the OS. Fortis has a very minimalistic OS, while maintains as much desktop real estate as possible (which is good for us artists, since the taskbar gets in the way and other clutter that uses up space). He goes to show he can maintain a clean and simple OS while keeping fuctionality for HIM. =) Epi - just because the OS is bad for you, doesn't mean it can be bad for somebody else. Every computer is unique. =) VAC: sad, very sad indeed. doesn't make sense? Vac, you don't make sense. You have nothing to back your end of ANYTHING on ANY of your little troll-like arguments.

minimalism is more than just having as few objects on the screen as possible (although that is a factor). the wallpaper is far from minimalistc. but i agree it looks nice.

david101: blackbox is a semi-minimalistic windowmanager for the real operatives (blackbox.alug.org).
as far as minimalism is concerned, i think it mostly regards a symbiosis between system resources and screen estate.. cluttered wallpaper doesnt really matter.. although no wallpaper at all would be prefered imho ;-)
hehe, on a side note.. rkenshins introduction to the screenshot doesn't really make sense.."Probably the most minimalistic theme I have ever seen in a very long time.".. ever seen in a long time, eh? and i wouldn't claim fortis' OS to be minimalistic since it most likely is one of the most un-minimalistic operatives available ;-)
