Artist's Note
Just my latest here. I'm enjoying my new choice of color here, as I was really anxious to get away from white/grey, although I do love both of those colors as well. Stripped things down quite a bit. No Ayumi anywhere, can you believe it? lol Lot's of mods going on here as always, but they're the small ones :) No bitmaps everywhere, etc... Definately different for me, and I like it alot. I find this setup very functional, and easy on the eyes. Hope you like it :)
Wall: Future Ver #1 by Extension
Winamp: Mechanical Harmony (bronze) I don't know the author of this skin unfortunately.
Icons: "Signs" set by qoa.
Running Tclock 2 as always
Modded start menu, desktop context menu, IE / Win explorer menus, run box, open box, task manager box, marlett font, and tons of items renamed or modified in win explorer.

hey wint ^_^ i like this one. the color is cool, and the icons match pretty well. i can only think of 3 suggestions:1/try recoloring the winamp cuz it stands a little too much out. 2/and maybe try a new stats program, like samurize? i know youve had those stats up there for a while, its just that in my opinion it doesnt look as good as i could be. 3/the wall paper is a little bland, i dont like the design on the furthermost right. maybe you could recolor a certain icon maroon? over all its a nice change to chick desktops. cant wait to see other hacks :D

me likes, quite similar to my desk regarding style and color, just better and deeper customization. Deeper? did I say deeper? after taking a look at this again I must admit: I didn't customize my desk at all! =)

great choice of wallpaper. Extension is great. I like all the mods you made to the dll's they look very nice. I don't have enough dedication to modify all that :P I agree about the winamp skin, though that's just nitpicking. good work

Very nice indeed, WinT. ^^ You always put so much work into those SS.
The only thing that I would change is the clock area. Changing the font and removing the italics would help a lot. :)

Ah, good suggestions there. My responses are : For the Winamp, on my monitor, I can hardly tell where it's at. Maybe I'm colorblind, but it seems to sink in quite well. For the stats, I'm on 98, Samurize isn't gonna happen for me, and that's ok. Sysmeter, Sysmetrix, Skinmem, yes, aware of those, but couldn't find a matching skin that I liked, and I'm no graphics guy, so making a skin is out for me, at least, making one that looks good anyway :) Wallpaper is bland? Hmm, well, one is always entitled to his/her view, but I happen to like it very much. Recoloring icons is not something I like to do. Not to mention, I happen to love this set I'm using, so no desire to do so :) Regardless though, thanks for your input, as it was well recieved :) *Edit: Thanks to everyone below for the great comments :)
