Yep, white with an Asian girl again, but not the same Asian girl, and not some wall I just found. The girl is Hyolee Lee, and the wall was made for me by Sticboy. I was working with him on AIM the other night trying to get his AIM hacks to work, and I asked him if he'd make a wall out of this image, and so he did. I've always admired stiboy's style, and am greatly appreciative of his work here. So, thanks Sticboy for what to me, is a great wall.
I have no icons here either, reason I called it Terminal, but regardless, a friend of mine, J, send me a little app called EatIcons, for 9x only, but it does just that, it get's rid of all of them. Weird, differenet, maybe insane and looked down upon, but I'm loving it. Speed increase is incredible with file operations, etc... and I love the look of it, and also, have no issues at all finding my usual files/folders, and doing my usual things. It also removes the "gap" usually found on the left of most menuitems, resulting in smaller, more centered menus, which I love :)
Also running Xcap, by Methodik from VP. It's a small app which centers all active and inactive window titlebar text. Runs great, and works perfectly. Find the download at VP if interested.

now this is some true custo work. the clock font is bothering me a little, but it doesnt take away from the overall quality of the sub. lovin the complete lack of icons.
it's really good work, but your windows color is too light and your text is too strong. and there is way too much text , it just pops in your face and distracts you from the actual window that is open. thats my only problem.. otherwise great stuff.

-|- Well if a virus, worm, tojan, etc makes your dtop looks pretty, will you remove it? Anyway it doesn't seem to do anything harmful, just that the first sight of iconless scares the shit out of most general Windows users. I will definitely try to use it as a prank on some of the networks if you can provide a link to this app. upd8 I think if anyone want to go with this look they should enable the display for file extension names (dot whatever whatever whatever) or you will have problem telling what's what in the long run.
WinT, once again, you killed it, but ofcourse, in an extremely and outstandingly impressive fassion. Man, if i had the time, i dont think i can explain how "WOW" this is. My only -1% is the colouring. Well, since my eyes are extremely sensitive, it kinda hurts to look at it due to the brightness and the lettering, but dont take it wrong though, thats just a lil set back. And as for "TAMA"... lol, i am the one most concerned and parranoid person in this portion of the universe that is so affraid of viruses, that... that... that.... well... the point is, even though this "virus" thingie removes all the icons, i just wish some one could infect me with one that works on win2k!

er .. well this comment is going to stand out like a sore thumb, i just know it. .. ... .. . why do you like staring at a lightbulb? all this white, with the fine lines of black (and very sparse) text makes it looks like you're trying to make yourself go blind. don't get me wrong, i'm sure you had a wonderful time customizing your desktop and fully personalising it (congrats, nobody else has such a white desk), but really, is this functional?
100 for effort, but it's way too white for my tastes, so the numbers would have to come down... but since i dont give numbers anymore, i guess it doesn't matter what i say here...i'm just mumbling to myself now, aren't i? ... atleast i think i am
