great theming, but i don't get the stuff on the right, why is there boxes under the icons and stuff. -10 for that cuz i'm confused.

LimiTeD. Skinning on a high level. You went away from your last placement. And this is great outhought. You always skin the calendar and not usual and average used applications. Not everybody is using the SysMetrix. It is, right? Or am i wrong. Sorry if, correct me. So you´re going the real individual way. The Ethan submissions that floated customize were all looking great. But they had something together. THE WHITE. You don´t have. Not any of the ethan-ss (eeeeh mine..) nearly comes to this. Why? Individuality catched this one! The seperation is a excellent idea. But you have to improve it. Maybe it is just me. But get rid of the one step in there. Maybe it will look better? I don´t know. But oooh so hot this robots! You just tooked perfect art. So this had to turn out great! And yeah it did. Personally that style is not on my wave. But it goes very well together. The grey as a passive colour and the blue are great. oooh reminds me of my cigarettes.. i need one... yeah. great! LTD the god of the submarine´s is back in the class!

Good to see your experimenting with different styles. Still has elements of the LTD style though - nice and lambent. I think things would look much better if you removed the section on the right and just make it plain to match the rest of the background, and then decide to place the icons from there. When your working with a minimal wall like that it will look best if you keep it as minimal as possible. Only other complaint is to work with that font or maybe try similar fonts/sizes so the text stays very sharp. Sorry for the knitpicking, because overall it is nicely done =). Keep it up!

silkscreen looks like ass when It's ant-aliased. albeit the ethan is a really good artist, the monkey doesn't match the theme much since he's all pointy and stuff while the rest of the screenshot is soft and cuddlish. also, I'd get rid of the green highlight on rainlendar. I like the way everything looks though, besides the aforementioned parts because overall it is a nice theme

ubercustomized, and very functional :) though a more dispersed wallpaper would have been better imo. no giant trashcan? :P eh, change is good though. great job overall :D

yep, looking good. extra points for the skins you did. they match very well. those fake bars over the icons are quite cool, i think they would be nicer if there wouldn´t be that lighter background on the wallpaper.

It's just decoration, to separate certain groups of icons. Maybe the boxes interfere with the overall flow . . . . I'll keep that in mind.
Otherwise, I like it. Now that I dumped the 128x128 icons and used these grays with the simplistic blue VS, it all seems so OPEN and ROOMY :-)
UPDATE::: thnsk for all the nice coments, everyone :-) I'm going to as sz1 if I can make a winamp skin for this.. I will also look into releasing the other skins.
fate0000: thanks for the tips! The font is a bit small. I could increase it 1 more point before it gets distorted (silkscreen.)
