Well, it will be a while before I submit another shot, as finally, I've found the ultimate dark "green" scheme I've been looking for. As many times as I've visited Design Chapel.com, I've never even noticed this wall, but glad I finally did. The color scheme is derived solely from the character's dress, being the main color, and all other colors pulled from various spots in the wall.
New things this time... re-did most mods as you can see, although a few are still similiar, or the same, can't help that, but I used the bitmap overlay technique on a few boxes, and modded the download dialog, seen at the bottom, a really irritated box it is :)
Re-colored FrostedFlame's LemonFactoryRemake skin this time, rather then Serenity, changed it up just a bit with the colors and all, etc...
Back to using Byblos in the right click, and also should point out the new AIM mod I've got going there. It's a bitmap, but it's BELOW the buddy list, not under it. Nothing major about it, but provides a nice extra touch for those still wanting to use a solid color for there buddy list background.
New colorpad skin, used the default as a base, but re-worked it completely, same goes for CDRun, which I use all the time, but never showed due to not having a matching skin, so I finally broke down and made one for it, using it's default as a base as well.
Started using Eppie Desktop again to skin the caption and scrollbar buttons. I did a "hide" job on the scrollbar buttons using bitmaps of the same color, and used the captions from the Winamp skin for the titlebar caption buttons. Eppie expands them to a minimum of 8x8, so, their a bit larger, but small enough :)
Welp, as usual, running Windows 98, Tclock 2, PKTray to hide the task's, and XCap to center titlebar text.
Sorry for the long notes here, but I put alot of work into this one, more then usual, so, alot to explain. Hope ya like :)
i love the calc mod and that aim buddy list looks even better this time around. heyyy! look! im on yr buddy list. =) love the wall too. that file download dialog is the shit aswell. nice 3dcc aswell.

Thanks guys, where ya been Imrik? I've been trying to get ahold of you. Saw your new site, very nice man :) Shocks: I agree in full with what you're saying, but take a look through all of your desktops, all of mine, and all of just about anyone elses... they all favor, from the first to the last, they all look really good, but they favor, just no way around it. Originality is hard to come by, and very seldom seen. I could argue/explain this all day, but it doesn't seem to do any good :( Oh well, enough said I suppose, you know what I'm talking about :) MaRZ, thanks, and no, unfortunately, Eppie doesn't work on XP. section9: If you'de zoom in, there's quite a lot new. It's all about attention to detail. Edit: Shocks, thank you for the update there, I do appreciate that, and was quite nice of you to say what you did, and I too have great respect for your work as well. I wasn't offended by what you said earlier, sorry to have come across like that if I did, wasn't intentional. It's just sort of hard to get around the square look of Windows, it's the one thing I can't hack out ya know? :) I do the best I can though, and each screenshot I submit is carefully detailed and worked upon for days, I poor myself into it literally, so it does make me a bit touchy I guess, but nothing bad though :) Anyway, thanks again, it means alot :)
looks nice as always, but at times kinda loses originality update what i meant in a better sence was that, your setups are always the same, and windows/button style. Yes i agree it's hard to come up with something original, but when most of us submit we tend to change visual stlye and buttons and every, yes i know you don't use xp, i use 2000 so i'm in some what related to you when there are still things to change the look. I understand you have a style of your own and all and it's great, but your first your screenshots were wow, then slowly declined to great, and now it's just nice to see you submit and always will be nice. Don't get me wrong, i respect you very much and all the great hacking you do :) just giving my opinion i guess
