I think the wall is intresting, but you should try to recolor the litestep theme to match it better. It looks like you're trying to go with a simple 2D wall but then you've got the icons which really dont match either. Open up paintshop and try your hand at recoloring that theme, pick some better icons and a better placement for them and you'll be good to go.

Putting the icons at the bottom left above the guy's head isn't very good-looking...also they look 3D and don't really match to the simple 2D look you have everywhere else...
Also you try to make it simple but probably do it TOO simple - you could allocate the things you got - WinAmp and the small Taskbar-thing seem to take each other's place...
