ok another presentation of international, we have seen it so many times so try and do something different with it instead of showing us the same thing over and over again, also the default icons need to go, im pretty sure there are international icons somewhere on customize, and try to minimize on the amount of icons in your system tray, also take a look at the other international screenshots

replace those default icons with iconpackager, iconphile, or shell32 hacking.
it's a good start but it needs more customization.

i'm not gonna complain about the oldness. i'm using what, fourth month old VSes? i dig this. but show off more of that international jazz, be a little more creative, shake things up.

use clear type, the swiss font doesnt look good unless you use that. go to your display properties, then appearance, then click effects. check the box that says "use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" and select in the drop down "clear type." it will make your fonts look ALOT better for that visual style.

I have almost the same exact setup (except for the font) for my login name on my daughters PC, since I didn't want to do too much to her PC programwise, just give myself my own environment, and if I have to borrow it (or fix it) I get tired of Cartoon Characters. Nice setup. clean simple and usable. The original MS icons stand out nicely and don't get lost on this one like some other washed out, monotone setups that are so putridly common these days. Productivity, and functionality. Nice.

The rounding on the bottom of the winamp playlist is a simple case of matching the desktop background color within the winamp skin (the rounding is faked, it isn't transparent).
I know the whole international things been done before, but I only came across it recently after a much needed re-install. I like the international look, who cares if it's old? So is helvetica, yet I bet you still use it.
Icons will be replaced at some point, just gotta find a suitable replacement, I'm not really a fan of the international icons so...
