Everything looks really nice apart from that wallpaper, its a mess, all blocky! the transparency works well to.
Get a nice black and white wall and it will look much better

I agree, the wall is really killing this. Compositionally it's awesome, but it looks gross. Also, it looks like it wouyld be my art history professor's desktop :)
Also, I disagree with changing the icons. A theme doesn't have to be monochrome to match, and the blue icons work really well.
