Dont photoshop screenshots to alter the way they look. Since I there isnt much customization, I know you didnt change anything else, but in the future, photoshopping a window like that will make us suspect other photoshopping.

don't mean to hate but this looks pretty plain!!! Windows usually comes with that theme. I like to wallpaper but dislike all those icons on your desktop. Anyways, peace out....

I think its nice , in a clean kind of way. Not my thing though. Perhaps lose the the shortcut over-lays , through regedit. :>

I don't use it personally, but this desk would be a good candidate for Objectdock Plus (what with the various drawers) - would clean up the desktop nicely.

hmmmm...not really nice...you do know you can create shortcuts, right? If you're going to make a desktop that looks almpst exactly the default xp look....why even bother? sry B1uesummers but this aint got it...

B1uesummers, those 16x16 icons are taking up 16x784 pixels, to be precise - all 49 of them. So yes, there is space being wasted, and that's not counting the text off the right of every one... 24 characters in more than one instance. The suggestions made here by others are valid and you really should heed a few of them, if not every one - because honestly, this is quite frugal.

try spending more than 10 minutes customizing your desktop. and if this took longer than 10 minutes, i'll laugh.

dok0001- I do actually because there are still some programs that do not have shortcuts. Very few though. Bekochu- Read the Designer Notes and find that I already said it's pretty basic. DioS- Reluna would look even worse. Bad suggestion. I would change the icons but since I'm using a theme that usually comes with Windows I'm not trying to stray far from the plain look of it all.
FrostedFlames- Nothing in the screenshot was changed with photoshop. That is a WindowFX option when you open a window it rolls down from the top. I just hit printscreen before it was done appearing.
Txiasaeia- Clean up? How much space are those 16x16 icons taking up? Either way, they're all on the left in 1 row and aren't scattered all over my desktop.
WeSjUh- My Window's didn't come with it. Which would mean? Oh, take any popular vs and pretend it's like that. Say "Reluna" for instance.
k1n6_6h1d0r4- Because I want it that way.
Xyphur- Of course there is always going to be space taken by something if there is indeed something there but have you looked at the screen? That area is specifically for them so not being wasted, being used. All of the excess area is space wasted.
felix- No
