i like it, i really do... but the contrasting red in the taskbar and upper bar is rather abbrasive. maybe it that could be toned down or blended. either way nice desktop.

I'm just being a hard ass :P I think there's a way to make the Miranda caption bar corners rounded as the vs, and personally I'd like to see the describtion text with the same font as the vs and not aliased... But all these don't affect at all the screen to be a "vinner" :P

im gonna be hard on u too lol u should either have either picked rounded or cornered edges for everything not a combo of the both, and the button text on the bottom bar looked like it was done in haste and this SC was def borderlining messy edit : should of used the elfin vs lol

The only thing I really don't like about this is tab thingy on the right. It seems kind of out of place. Maybe if it was the same colors and textures at the vs it would look a little better? I dunno... It looks like you left nothing out. Nice work
