As you all know, Heylove and Senex, two of my favorite artist here in the community, put together Asethetic Groove, a VS that I've admired since it's release, hence the inspiration for this shot. I always loved the colors, and the flow of the original VS, so figured I'de apply my take on things using BBLean, and love how it came out. I used the exact same colors used within the VS, though changed the "flow" of them.
Unfortunately, there was no wallpaper made by Heylove/Senex to go with this VS (that I know of anyway), so I had to go back to DesignChapel.com, and sort of peice together something usable, this too, I'm also pleased with. I took the bottom graphic from the VS preview found here on Custo, and the photo's of the girl are of course, from DesignChapel. I didn't think I was going to like this wall to much, but actually find myself loving it. The model makes for a nice sight when I come home from work :)
I also enjoyed the "little" things about the VS graphic... being the star and the line graphics, which you can see used in all of my dialogs (loved how that worked) and the skins as well.
So, for the list of things in use:
Running Win98, using BBLean as shell.
Rainlendar skin: X21bv8 by PK... recolored to match.
ColorPad skin: Gauge by Gear... recolored to match, hate you can't change the font on CPad, always has irritated me.
Winamp skin: Of course, FF's Groovement skin, changed up quite a bit, my all time favorite WA skin to work with.
All other things are my normals, though the dialogs have been completely redone, reworked the BBLean menu's a bit this time, and also am running a new system monitor I found at VP called "TinyResMeter"
Hmm... well, my designer notes got cut off somehow, oh well, to complete...If anyone wants anything they see, just ask. Hope you all enjoy, take care everyone. Edit: To capitalizex... I would have loved to use the actual VS, but am on 98 :( :( Thanks btw :) To taint3d.. I have no idea who she is, her name isn't given on the DesignChapel site :( She's referred to as "the model", and thank you as well :) carnage: That seems to be the case.. and the fact that you focus on such simplicity is ridiculous. You wasted a comment, and user's time, get over it my friend :) To everyone else, thank you :) Edit: Home from work now, thanks to all for your comments, always appreciated. Take care until next time :)
im kind of suprised you didnt use the actual vs for this but i like the fact you can pull off the whole agroove feel without using the vs itself. Good work bud.
Wow, i must have really regrooved aesthetic, hehe just kidding :D Cool to see that even on windows 98 the style looks just so hot, i really like the way you've used those colors! And as always, so comprehensive, wow! If i could i would give you a 110 because of the girl, damn she's hot!
