Artist's Note

just been messing around for awhile. I know the vs has been done already, but I liked it.

VS - Ripped from akkas screenshot, so props to him and staticuxo.

WALL - something I threw together

WINAMP - mod of nano

HTML - custom start page with image from one of the links in the forums. Cant recall right now.

random hacks here and there.

It is classy, graphic, trendy and completely boring. (hope you won't take it personnaly, just felt I would give my sincere opinion).
On a more C&C level, I doubt that all these mod b&w to be really ergonomic, at least in my experience.

minimal works for me. i was never a big fan of gradient walls though, unless you have an incredibly amazing VS that you dont want attention to be attracted from. but a minimal wall with a minamal VS is kinda overkill. it does have style though mate.

nice (: i like the amp and the explorer/ ff window! neodude: this isn't the same vs used in akka's shot. it has alot of differences. circa made it to somewhat replicate the look of it. akka designed the vs, and i made it, that's why he's giving us credit. it may be released through nuance in the future d:

Back to B/W, hmmm nice mod of aero04 they by akka, anychance of him ever realising that?

Also the font used for the time/date is'nt anti-alised right maybe using the arail caps font might make it look better apart from that lovely SS. Ha thats a no then stat :P

Now this is definitely where i parked my car! That visual style looks kicking, though the scrollbars might look better if they were flat and i really love the combination with that gradient wall (sorry j3). The Firefox startpage looks interesting too, i'm guessing the image is bigger, so that it still looks good when resized? All in all interesting shot, -5 for not taking out that adresbar icon.
