Notes in screenshot. I forgot to mention that I'm working on a CSS dynamic list for file navigation (the beginnings of which are shown in Firefox).

	report antimatter says: This is extremely nice. The only thing that bothers me is the font on the titlebars. It seems a bit choppy. I'm not sure if the font rendering niggles are present or if the VS has a hidden text shadow or what, but that really seems to stick out. Other than that, though, it's spot on; I'd love to give some of that a try at some point. Great job, and welcome to the site; I'm certainly looking forward to seeing your forthcoming shots. 	report Pon_ says: I'm interested in the comments so thanks. The white caption bar text is a function of Windows' flawed greyscale antialiasing implementation. As far as I can tell the gamma value is hard-coded into the rasterizer so that light text on a dark background renders heavier than dark text on a light background. You don't notice this on most Microsoft fonts like Verdana because antialiasing is turned off at lower ppm's in favor of 1-px grid-fitting. I actually worked on a lighter-weight font to compensate for this problem but I forgot to change it in the visual style, and my monitor is fairly high resolution so it doesn't bother me too much. Anyway, from what I can tell from Microsoft's documentation WPF includes a registry value for modifying the gamma for greyscale so I'll check that out if/when I decide to move to Vista. The shutdown dialog is purposely in-your-face because for some reason the standard Windows shutdown dialog always defocused my attention (probably the pointless XP branding bitmap).
