Artist's Note

I try to keep it clean and simple.....

Screen: 1280x768 Widescreen on a Dell Inspiron E1705
Wallpaper: Convergence by Richard Mohler http://rmskins.wincustomize.com/ I use his wallpapers almost exclusively because of their quality.
Rainlendar2: V2.1(b41) Rainy USMC by JarHead100 (Me)
ObjectDock +: v1.90. All visible icons created by JarHead100 with Axialis IconWorkshop v6.03 I forget who made the tabbed background but it is named DTC2 Zoom9 and is transparent.
Little Boy: Glitter GIF from an email, changed to a PNG Strip, and then used with DesktopX as a Widget. Adds a little visual movement and sparkle instead of regular icon. I had to do something
as I was learning how to make a PNG Strip......
RSS feeder: NewBliss v2.2.6 available from http://www.emarketsoftware.com/ Their News Ticker is good, frequently updated, and more importantly they are responsive to the users recommendations/comments. It even has a mode to scroll YouTube 84x84 Thumbnails.

Licensing: the artist has specified that ports and mods are allowed.

The wallpaper is great, but the dock and the calender don't seem to fit.

This is my 1st attempt at doing a ScreenShot. Desktop space is limited on a 17 inch widescreen laptop, so, I only want the essentials such as a calendar with Tasks and Events showing, RSS feed for the news without having to keep a web browser open, and a max of a two click access to all of the programs I use frequently via the ObjectDock. Virtually everything on my desktop has some degree of transparency to take advantage of Vista Aero. I'd try some WindowBlinds or DesktopX Themes, if there were any available that were fully functional on Windows Vista. Anyone know of any?
