this is really cool. there are a few things that let it down though - popup is way too plain and generic and that shutdown is very half-assed. i'm guessing that black thing is an lxcommand or launchy? doesn't really flow all that well either.
but really, apart from those things i reckon this is a winner. great job.

Forgot about the popup, it could be slicker, but eh. I knew the box was apart of the wallpaper, I should've specified I wish Imrik had done a version without it -- or in a different color. :P

wow, been a while since i saw someone with a colorpad skin in their screenshot lol. i like the heavy shadow on the clock/miranda/etc. you should get y'z shadow to emulate that on your other apps.

the thing about texture desktops is that is really difficult and request a lot of work and imagination to get it perfect, thats why i admire akka. This one is really good, and the icons are wondefull, but not perfect in every aspect. To me the most difficult aspect in this kind of setup is the scroolbars, and I wish I could see how you manage to do them!I like it.

this has some alright elements to it, my favorite being the colorpad skin, but the vs is lacking a lot of areas.
-the scroll bars aren't visible, and tho they look nice in your preview, the window background clashes with the scroll background
-a start button couldhave been interesting, same with some caption buttons
-with blank caption icons you should move the caption text to justify it with the left side

well the black box is a part of the wallpaper so it's not really possible for me to make a proper version without it since I don't have the .psd or .ai of it. I don't like it much either...
