Yeah i fan CLASSIC stuff!
My opinion:
Simple why dont need windows service for use.
I like VS and WB ( rich tools ) but this tools they demand memory and dont customize console windows (cmd.exe) i have many console windows and 16 bits applications to keep.
One day who knows i use VS or WB.
