Artist's Note
I've seen this theme before, but, I finally got my hands on DesktopX and I said to myself "I must have this". I love this theme! Modified, changed wallpaper (Shadowness "Ensnare") ... Not shown, Winamp using Thredz skin (to match) ... I know, I need to change the icons ... but I like XP Alpha blended transparent icons. :-P Old theme, but I love it so much.

definitely a classic...i believe there are several matching skins for this if you look around a bit...i know there's a Sysmeter 2...check http://www.dangeruss-industries.com/

very sweet, my fav colors also *blue y black* excellent job with matching pretty much everything up, and BTW *not familiar with DesktopX*
but does it do what litestep does and replace explorer.exe??

Great work, rkenshin. Classic theme, from one of the best in the game + superb wallpaper= top desktop. Icons look a bit out of place, I would personally not have any icons on the desktop.
xcjbx87, DesktopX is not a shell replacement. It extends and enhances the functionality of the explorer shell. It is part of the Object Desktop suite of applications.

looks totally great, even though I don't like such dark desktops or big gray boobies.. The only icon that looks out of place to me is the recycle bin, and thats a 15 second fix.

bah. i changed the windows so when they roll out they are transparent. yea yea, i know i need to change the icons. but like i said, i like the alpha transparent icons. =/ anyways, thx for comments. EDIT: You mean credit to Shadowness for his original wallpaper.
