it DOES look like some sort of Christmas promotional skin... some things are good, some things are bad (i.e. the text) not very original tho, just let your mind go nuts and add whatever you think would make it look cool. then everybody else on here can trash that, and you can see what works and what doesn't. ;)

An interesting attempt... Definately not my thing though... The colours could do with a little more coordination... Red and green makes me think ov Christmas. :P <but someone else said that already>... All I can say is... Try and try again.

Janks' right..The edges are choppy..blurring would help...bryce or fractual designer would have been a better choice for the button bevelling/texturing...keep trying though..

Things you may consider fixing for a "2.0" version or the like: 1-color scheme (I don't go for that "Christmas on burshed metal" kinda thing) 2-the jagged edges (a light blur could fix it) 3-the font (it could be a bit more interesting, but I like the fact that it's readable)

Come on people. give Dolph a break. i'm pretty sure all of you were there at one time or another. Maybe its his first skin but still...give him the help comments and NOT the "JUST GIVE IT UP" statements. Keep trying Dolph, you'll get better at it.

Interesting font... try searching for 'free fonts; or something... and I see you made "good" use of EyeCandy.. the middle mode would be not bad, but I cant read the red text

you should have used the inner bevel (it looks eyecandy made), and 1 word Antialias

Agreed MirKo. I don't care for this skin much, but it has potential. Work on the colors a bit, and the big letters need to go... I look forward to your next effort.

I like the gelatinous look, but you appear to have submitted it on the basis of that asset alone. If you would only change the shape of the big and med modes a little more and, yes, eliminate the text--might I suggest embossing it in that swooby texture? then this would get higher standing. Peace out...

Letters too big, and at least take the time to make a different thumbnail rather than the Phantom one! geez! come on people, need shape changing.

The background looks good, but the letter in nav mode look terrible behind the content in the display bit...
