I don't mind recolorings that much, except that I think the effort is better spent on creating new stuff. But I like the original black version better, I'm sorry.

His effort and hard work, shows how skilled Pordey is with Computer Design. I disliked many of his skins for Winamp, as well as Sonique, but the length of time and the effort it took to create something as unique as this, should be rated 100 whether he recolored it, or not. Great work... ;x

N.G.E....First u bitch that its too dark and when he comes out with a lighter version u complain about how he recolored it????? Personally I like to have a variety of options. besides. For each of you bitchin about how recolorings suck I'll bet there are 1000 begging the poor guy for a version that compliments their friggin background. There is always room for improvement on a skin. Keep up the good work Pordey, u know all the player haters come with being the best

If anyone wants to know what Pordey's description translates into, just copy the text to the Clipboard, go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and paste the text into the box, select "Italian to English" from the pull-down menu, and hit the "Translate" button. The translation won't be perfect, but at least you'll know more than you did before you translated it. Anyway, the skin review: very nice! I prefer the gold edition over the black one, but I guess I'm just a stickler for shiny, expensive looking things. =)

An unratable skin by podrey, like it or hate it... Podrey is so good that it does't seems that he works a lot for the skins, he just use his usuals tricks on this one... looks good to me anyway, but I don't use it.

I don't particularly like this, but thought I would mark it higher because of all the down marking by others. Surely recolouring is more of a problem when one person does it to another's work. That would show lack of creativity, etc. This however is merely offering a choice for different tastes.

I don't know why so many people hat recolorings... some people just can't do it, but, man it's Pordey! don't underestimate him

I like this better than the original. And although I didn't like some of Pordey's old WinAmp variations I still like it. I'm wondering why Pordey wrote the description in a foreign language though..

] this skin is awesome!! just because he made a recoloring of it doesn't mean the skin sucks!! the gold looks alot better than the black one anyways... keep churning out cool sonique skins prodey. whoever gave this skin a score lower than 90...have you actually downloaded the skin and looked at it? the detail and artwork on this thing is incredible...my only question is why this didn't recieve a 100...its heck of a lot better than pino. and what does that designer notes thing say??

Great skin, Pordey!. Artistic, creative, original, unique, lots of detail, well-made......a great skin by an elite skinner. There's nothing wrong with releasing different colored versions of a great skin design such as Beetle. Different people have different color schemes on their desktops and may want different colors, but still want the same great design. Keep up the great work, Pordey.

I dont wanna hear one more person bitch about color changes!!! Artists stick with themes (monet has many paintings of the lilly pond). THis aint just a quick photoshop color balance change, it took work so get off his back.

Ohh come on people. He has recoloured *one* skin. Heck I used to be his greatest critique, but you have to forgive the man after what he has done for sonique. Any way, I prefer this over the standard beetle skin, as it fits in nicely with a K scheme called "string of stars" which i ahve ported across to WB. It reminds me of a brass instrument of soem sort, or that stage from "Sonic the hedge hog" called stardust speedway...

...I didn't like the old one....but this one is WORSE!...the original looks bad!..but it did take some thought and effort....not the recoloring though...this is just dumb...Y homey!?...Y?!?!

Seems you couldn't resist and decided to submit an re-coloring of the Beetle. Too bad, would have given it a higher mark, but I hate re-colorings. It doesn't really look good gold anyhow....
