A nice 3D piece and the overall feel for it makes it like a nice open room. Almost like my desktop is wide open too. Its really cool. But, this might get boring after a couple hours on the desktop.

i'd like it better of the room was a little more realistic looking, but maybe it's not supposed to be.. the shadows around the light bother me.. i like the idea though.

Ok, THIS is a really interesting piece. It gives me the feeling of being out on some spacestation in the future looking at the model of the mountains as the museum tour guide says "See, this is what the earth looked like"

Very nice idea! IMO the room should have a texture of some sort, that would really make this one shine. And a bit more realistic lighting wouldn't hurt. Otherwise it's a great idea and some real nice work. It's a fresh idea that differs from all "Let's make something shiny and blurry". Very serene and soothing.

I wonder if you are about to start a new trend here...

Doesn't look like all the other wps, and that's always good news. This is what it might look like if Richard Dreyfuss in "Close Encounters" kept sculpting after he boarded the alien ship (and used Bryce instead of mashed potatoes)
