well, i really dont know what to do to make it look better, please give me some suggestions. i think its really cool, but i dont think its quite "there" yet

take off the damn cheesy texture

for it to be better :
skip the horrible texture crackled
try other fx if you want, but without , it'll be good.
the light fx, try to apply it on a over layer, then try to make it noisier: not so clean, and put it in multiply or lighting only, try and them we'll see.
