Artist's Note
Just some collaged digital photos and scanned scrap material to create this nice, easy on your eyes image. Used for my website, I've stretched a wallpaper size out of it with decent quality.

Very dark and almost an emotional piece. Very original and great use of other features besides just programs (props in your house, scanners, etc).

For the dusty look, first I scanned in a piece of paper that I painted all over on with ink and I think a chinese brush. Yea, definately. But I didn't really make any distinct Chinese marks, just kinda splattered ink on it and made some broad strokes. Then I scanned this in. I resized it, blurred, put some brush stroke filters in Photoshop itself on to it. Then tinted it, put a layer of a solid orange? I don't remember, over that. "and den..." heh, I put in the wings and the big clock, actually cropping down on the corner of the clock. Took out the frame of the clock and burned in part of it. Then added some scratches with brushes in Photoshop. Lots of use of the "spatter" filter in Photoshop as well. phew.. :) but there ya have it.
