Artist's Note

The Image
--------------
One of the more simple images of the serie.
Most of the text in the background is a fragment from Samuel Peeps' diary (the entries about the great fire in London). The bit of text under the light is written by me:
the void is only a curtain
behind you'll find the eye of all
deep inside it breathes the light
of all memories and truth

The Serie
------------
Fire is a serie of 17 images.
My primary goal in this serie was to show a different sort of 'warmth' in every image and ofcourse to explore new styles and ways of working once again. And there's a bit of an underlying concept too but it's much more interesting to watch the images without knowing the concept.
