Artist's Note
My 2nd Bryce Render. I know, I should mix it up a bit, that will come. For now simplisity in colour and texture. This is building upon a theme of mine, and will enjoy where it takes me. Hope someone likes deep, dark, and red...

Has a very bryce-y feel to it, but it prolly took you a good bit. Those rings just don't position themselves, y'know. Maybe ditch the h2o and sky and people will be more apt to use it. I think the colors are quite fetching, and the material you've applied to the "tubes" is quite rad ("fire"?)

Don't care for it aesthetically, but I can appreciate how much work went in to it.

Personally, and contrary to many other's opinions, I'd say lose the middle content. The only thing turning me off of it is the box shooting the "Fire-Beam" like rays.

Agree with Deeity. It wouldn't make a great wall paper (hard to theme and match and stuff) but it's a great lookin image.

something that might help you make it more of a useable wallpaper would be to create a forefront image in bryce, then move it to photoshop and add a 2d backing to it. Just an idea

the lava looks a little flat, and the light rays coming out look too plastic

Thanks, I will surely take these responses back to my drawing board. I agree I was having troubles with the 'anvil'(box), although it does present the antithesis of sharp edges to roundness of the rings and the tubes(all seeing eye). Fire was way too light to use, and am still working on this texture.
I'll try to wallpaper my themes a bit more, from my project. Thanks.
