I had this idea of making a wallpaper where metal meets organics, this is the result, I'm not completly happy with it, but hell, let me know what u think. Tools used: Photoshop7 and 3Dmax r5

The green things a really neat and you should work with those more. The shards on the right, however, are only sub-par. Text isn't the best either.

Guess the green is the organics and grey the metal. so then; soften a little the borders of the green part (there isn't straight lines in organic things)... and the grey thing.... I don't know

try making the metal more of a gear idea, instead of just shards, it might look better. Soften up the edges on the organic like Anetalaya said too. Looks like a good starting block, but definitely needs some work.
