Artist's Note
a friend of mine [PJ], a photographer was trying to get a high speed shot of a smashing egg. despite breaking 14 eggs, no successful shot was obtained :(
but he did get an egg, floating 6 inches off the plate...
makes a nice and peaceful wallpaper

the lighting is great, timing is good, even though a little low-qual. its a great photograph, but im not sure if it makes peaceful. when i saw the thumb it just seemed like a few circles made in photoshop, but this has more meaning. not bad all in all though

this is the coolest thing ever. i love it, the whole image is just so phat. I dont know what anyone else would say, but there could be something for making the plate a little flat and maybe whiter, or at least taking out the little reflection.

i don't know as if it would work as a wall, but is a perfect photograph, beautiful texture, nice contrast, lots of concept, good composition.... honestly, don't touch it, and i have seen so many photos of things crashing againts something... this one is more powerful... Oh, btw, my sister made a great pic of a glass of wine breaking using a toy gun, maybe it can work with eggs too??? ^_^

lol.. word.. wth does that say about his wp? it is a good shot.. but it doesn't look great for a wp .. i'm sure though that there are some things you can do to improve it ..don't change the picture though

I really like this, it's like the bullet-time scenes from The Matrix. It's peaceful yet with impending power, as if any second it's going to resume slamming toward the plate. -1 for low clarity.
