The shape and colors are well done, but it just looks really out of place on that white background. I don't know, it just needs some more work..but it's great for a first effort!

very nice, ya, either applying some effects to the text or completely eliminating it altogether is probably a good idea. nice work though

Redux- that's what i was thinking.. but then you could always put a white box over it or just erase it since its on a white bg
