The render looks really good at the top, but seems to lose quality as you go down the wallpaper. The typography is nice, but kinda big. Good job

Its a big pile of the listerine tabs!! Erm.. seriously though, looks like this one is going to replace my current wallpaper. [edit] edges are a little jagged upon closer inspection... but I'll leave the rating as is.

Hmmm... yea, it's quite a nice spin on an old concept (that being the jagged max noiseball). However you've stretched your render too much in the lower portion of the image to the point where it's quite blurry. You could solve that quite simply by rendering at a very high resolution - I do all mine at 4000x3000 minimum. The main typo's nicely done - the shape's great and the big font's cool, but the micro text is too intense. Overall, a good effort.

excellent!!!!! i love it, a bit blurry but looks good on 1024 x 768 which is what im using. Using this wall right now, excellent work shax, it goes well with hacked classic v3 visual style and metrox icons :D

Dokt, i know that it's too streched. I tried to fix it a bit, but .. you know ;) The thing is that i don't want to wait 10 hours for it to render, i've still got this crappy 850 duron.. And my plans changed when i was working on it, so i wasn't able to keep my smaller renders small. ps. There was something really strange that happened. I wanted to render the scene in 3ds, and it went to about 50% quite fast (5min), but then it stopped. I thought "ok, it's a complext place, i'll leave it there overnight". Well, when i woke up it was still there at the same place..

so why release it at 1600x1200? woulda been more sensible to make it 1024 x 768 cos it woulda been less image stretching.

ne way, tbh its all like been there done that, move on or add something new to abstract 3d plzzzzzzzzzzzz :>
(no offence, but it does ;))

I love it. It looks like blades of grass. It dosen't remind of me the other "crystalized" renders. It seems natural to me due to the formations and colors used. I can see the distortions though. I don't do renders so I have no advice to give. Overall, great job Shax! The natural touch is a fresh, much needed, theme. P.S. Someone get Shax a faster machine! ;)

excellent, but when you zoom in it loses a lot of quality, thus it loses points..

Love the 2D portion and the color combo just plain rocks. Keep playin with the settings in Max like Dokt suggested. You definitely have the vision, just gotta get the techniques down.

Great work.
