The models are especially cool. Maybe not the best color combination.

Well you pretty much know what I think about it. It has a certain atmosphere to it that I really can't describe. The models are simply inredible. That is all :p

wow cool model. this wall can be alot cooler. first blend in the wire frame turn down its opacity and fill. give the models a nice simple but at least a little refelctive with some roughness or something. and finally have more colors in the renders which looks like it was posterized to 24.

almost looks like wood, great work, much more than the usual 3d abstract shapes thing

I already did a lot of blending with the wireframe, and I'm satisfied with the result. I didn't just plop it on there. As far as the more advanced texturing, I'm pretty much stuck. Though these experimentations with GI are improving, I'm still limited when it comes to multitexturing beyond the lightscape material. The render is 32 bit color, and in no way looks posterized... if it were, all of the lighting would show the (inevitably horrible) result. - This wall might get cooler anyway, as another Gearman VS. Coestar project is already underway, and we're probably going to use this particular model.
