I guess I fail to see what all the hubbub is about this and why everyone is going on about it.....the typo, for lack of a better word, sucks. The photo is okay. In the end it only missed the axe because some people whose opinions I respect have seen something in it that evades me.

umm i dont see much amazing about this.. i think its radial blue on the text... nice and simple i'll give it that.. looks fine .. but not amazing..

minimalistic walls are, in my opinion, some of the hardest to make. It's got a good start (the lack of lighting and leaving more to the imagination of the photo is a good start) i would recommend definitely changing the text up a bit, possibly strewning it about the wall at a lower opacity (and without the blur) and it'll look a lot better. A nice first shot though.

uhm, can't see the greatness of this piece: for once, it's hardly recognizable, second thing is the radial blurred typo... looks cheap... and third: the two previous points cover anything on this wall... there isn't much, and what there is isn't "simplistic"

I agree with Gearman, it's a good start, and moving the text around a bit might look better. (I'd blur it less, but leave it blurred.) The one thing tha bothers me is that if you look closely, you can see a rectangle where the edge of the photo is. I'd airbrush the dark part of the photo with black to fix it.

way too dark, also u can see a grey box around the 'hacker' where the photo has been copied n pasted. dont like the blurred stuff on the right. however, its a good start n with some more work could be good.

neither amazing or featured material (don't know what djbkxr was thinking), but, yes, it could be a nice piece. as stated before, blur less, or you could blur less in the center or edges of 'haxor's face and monitor. the writing doesn't do anything for me, sorry...

outsider5000, i think you just answerd the question. this work tends more twoards the "art" aspect while leaving the 1337 shard effect far behind. Hence the mispelled name

the blurred was due to the fact that it's suppost to be hacker code, and not to be revealed =) but i'll work on it, just thought it was cool, considering all it is is my friend sittin at his laptop where the monitor's going bad...
