Nice sense of speed here...great subject. i was messing about in ps and I'm pretty close to figuring your style out.......w00t.
Repomonkey-If that's simple tracing filled with color, I'm a banana. Look at it. Very slight gradients and more detail than you could ever get by tracing. It's processed somehow, but with great detail, skill and editing. Almost like areas are thoughtfully selected, refined and filtered. Er. Why don't you tell me the proggie? ;-)

What you're saying is that Hermik can replicate a photo, pixel for pixel freehand - fuck me, even Michelangelo would have been impressed with that. You can drop the wallpaper over the top of the original photo and they PERFECTLY match. Why is that so hard to understand? Why is it such a problem? Does it make it a bad wallpaper - no! Does it mean it requires less artistic talent than someone who *does* draw freehand - yes! He used Photoshop, or Illustrator or Freehand and traced around the image with the pen tool - that's the only way they'd match up. Oh and hey people - here's another newsflash - the world is not flat as we thought, but is in fact round... it's true.. the earth is a globe.

The Autobahn in the background of the original photo would have fitted into the wall. but nevertheless I like the ICE (intercity express) wallpaper. It's already the second wall of hermik that imresses me a lot. Thank you!

I think it looks great, as for the people claiming it's not a trace, I wonder if they even looked at the original image. I like it, but I guess I'm not enough of a fanboy to say "omg thats so not a trace because I said so." The proof is kinda there out in the open :\
