Jihad, Allah Okbar. great Job looking good and hope you know what that means i am part arab that is where my name is originally from. which means strong as a lion or the king of his dominated area. THANX well done even better the arabic language is one of the first few which lasted for centuries.
and Flabbypig shut the F**k up and dont talk about things you dont even know of i would apprecite you to change the rating and say something nice and respect the art work he has created. and grow up and submit something worthy of posting because all you say is bullshit. and Xenu i love your work and i hope you dont take comments by other people personal because he does not know what he is talking about so ignore him and hoping to see such a great work and more of it from you. THANX

@ comments: WHAT???!!!! um.... mkaaay... well, personally, i don't think it's that bad :) a bit too simple. perhaps if you could have masked the gradient a bit, that would be nice. i could see someone using this as a wallpaper. *plays track 6 to 'the land of rape and honey' by ministry while downing 2 cups of ubercoffee* ...ooohhh i get it!!! this wallpaper rules!!!!

well, you have agreat idea, but a bad wallpaper. The "Bismillah" is a beautiful symbol (if it can be called that way, I don't know) is a shame you didn't showed it a little more. What I would like to see on this kind of wallpaper is more of beauty of the arabic artistic style. I have always admired mosques, that transleated to a wall, would be a great thing, and a really good wallpaper

I did better photoshop stuff when i was 15..... This sucks. Please don't use a website devoted to art; to publicize your false religion.

The gold type says "jihad," the word we've heard so much about on Faux News Channel et al, although for good reason, I think. It technically means "striving" or "effort" but it should also be said that its use is usually confined to a specifically Islam-related effort as described in the Qur'an (death to apostates, people who don't convert, etc.). More often, jihad is called for by this person or that person in attempts to rally people to commit violence or at least support it, perhaps financially such as the financial support that comes from the Saudi royal family. We can only wonder what Xenu's motives were for creating such a wallpaper -- either ignorance of the meaning or perhaps he truly is in support of a jihad.
The wallpaper looks alright but the original Qur'an doesn't contain any diacritical marks in it such as the fatha, kasra, etc. I like the calligraphy in the top left, though. Arabic calligraphy can be quite amazing.

Well, the gold part basically means "striving" in the sense of achieving higher moral standards.
The background is a verse from the Qu'ran (49:13) and it reads:
"O humankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other not that ye may despise each other."
And the top left bit is a so-called Bismillah which translates to "In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful". Bismillah occurs at the head of every chapter (surah) in the Qu'ran.
