Artist's Note
endless desertification
a hot summers piece, the temperature here in my room is at about 31°C now (which is highly unusual for my region). Weird climate...
It's simpler than my previous, but I like it. Please don't complain about the lack of clouds, havn't seen a cloud in two weeks...
Size is 1920x1440 and 1600x1200
Print will be available soon at DAprints (wide, not high)
Comments and ratings as usual very welcome!

another beautiful landscape wall, but it's too simple to grab anyone's attention. This doesn't evolve from your first walls. Keep pushing forward!

I like the simplicity in this. The emptiness is actually quite soothing. And no, this does deserve a 90. There is a kind of simple beauty to it. The colours are your usual soothing style. It's jsut that ther is no central object like a bird or a boat, etc. I don't see that as a problem. Perhaps my personal tastes kind of crept in to this review, but I'll give this piece plenty of cerdit.

id like if more if the sand reached to the end of the image at the bottom, that would make for an awesome taskbar blend. really awesome as it is though.

Simple some times does it for having on a d-top. nicely done. and beach fronts are usually clear so that makes vacations spots better. nicely done.

i'm glad that there are still artists working off inspiration, rather than just what random effects look good. i think a beach scene, at least maybe a palm tree off in the distance, would look very slick on this very solid start point, but as far as minimalism with a soul it doesnt get much better.

it wasn't supposed to be better than my first walls ;) glad to see that I still can get ratings below 90! Really appreciated! it's not sarcastic! I totally agree with your rating and your comment, in fact I'd even rated it lower. I just submitted this because I think it looks quite good, but regarding the graphic quality it's not quite up to my recent work.
