I did made a simpler version. Though i made another Title for the piece, so i figured this is a version 2. A lot of reflexebillity. Well. I must say it's a beauty for my style of working. 1024x768 wallpaper. Enjoy!

The robots alone would have been perfect but their environment could use some sprucing up. Overall it's decent work and you have potential but upload a V3 of this at your own risk.. I told you about sending in experiments use the forums, that is what they are for!

Its pretty well done but id remove the text and mess with the background a bit more, maybe if you add some colours

whoot: i don't think its about 'smooth & simple' vs. 'spectacluar & flashing' rather its about useability. your piece does look quite nice, however it is lacking in some aspects. there is no focus point, the colors don't match that well (make the metal more shiny and the red more prominent, also texture the robots) and the text is killing it. you left no room for icon placement nor system specs or something similar. it will be hard to find a theme for this. add some light & shadows and leave room for additional things and place the robots more prominetely. now go back and render!

you need to grasp the concepts of space and that this image has to be something people can be comfertable with. and age isn't an excuse alot of people here are teens. open it up.

imo thats an incredible idea, and i actually love the text floating up there. you just need to up the render quality and add some ambience to the atmosphere.

those robots look like samuses...do more with the wall, experiment with backgrounds, and some 2D, make the models more realistic - all of these are suggestions that i make...btw, i'm 15 too...

You need to decide on the composition well, and then once that's done clean up the textures and the aliasing. Then you'll have a good piece.
