It's a great piece dokt.. I would have named it "she's going home" though, you know the whole angle with wings thing.. looking out in the distance "heaven"

Holy crud, thats beautiful.. seriously.. its wow.. that just wow.. id use it if it wasn't upsetting because of the reason behind it. i can't give this anything less then a 100 because i have never seen a wall have that sort of effect on me.

Wonderfull work on this piece. The butterfly "tattoo" doesn't fit, but I can understand if it was part of the lost friend. The mood, angle, everything just seems right on this one.

Yes, this is excellent. Even without the explanation, I can feel the inspiration in this piece. It looks surreal, almost, and very well composed. Truly amazing that you can turn a tragic loss into something beautiful like this.

Indeed, this is very very nice, but to me it's more of indy art than a wallpaper, but i guess i would use this if i'm feeling how your feeling. You have a great imagination Dotk :) but -15 for the usuability though, other than that everything else is 100 ;)

Thanks for the featured Max, and the great comments folks. Making this was a very cathartic process - one I recommend if you find yourself in a similar situation. As to the title, I do agree with you, it would have been fitting, but besides a special meaning it also refers to the Beatles song of the same name.
