Artist's Note
added skyline of chicago to the left side to make it flow better. This is actually a view i've seen many times from the sand dunes of Lake Michigan(not including the shooting star).

The vector is very simplistic, but the colors go together fairly well. Good job.

i think i liked the minimalism of the previous, and the hilight outlining the skyline seems a little overdone - but still some very nice progression.
good job

it's certainly getting there. make a drop shadow around the guy (distance of zero so it's all around him) and i think it'll look much better.

yeah the blue under the skyline sort of takes away from the whole silouhete (spell check) thing that i really liked in the first version. this does , however, look great.

I still think you need to fix the moon. And I'm not that fond of the skyline, takes away from the loneliness you promote with the title. Also, still want to see different color packs, LOL.

I love vector art, especially when it just has that nice ambiance, which this has in spades, the only issue i have is that the black doesn't blend well with the sky... now thats ok for the person sitting, but i think it might do well for the piece if the city blended more.

Would that be the "Sleeping Bear Dunes"? Michigan rocks and Chi-town is where its at. Aside from that, the pic is pretty tight. I dig the highlighted skyline, but the lake could be a little more subdued. Keep it up!
