Artist's Note
Being a long time fan of the Moody Blues, and having a ticket to a concert coming up, I wanted to do a wall, and perhaps a series, to psych myself up for the event.
The vector is of Justin Hayward, lead guitarist. I would have liked to have gotten a nice image with his Gibson ES 335, but had no luck finding one. Tried to keep it as minimal as possible. Comments welcome. (1600)

this deserves far more than a 41. somebody please tell me how this was possibly rated lower than this http://www.customize.org/details/33615. it doesnt make any sense whatsoever. and by the way the moodies are great live, especially when backed by an orchestra. hearing justin do the fast lick for "question" live is almost a life-changing experience. he's definitely my favorite classic guiatar god.

merkurixx : lets not start another huge arguement about ratings, ok?? the point is, the admins didnt think this image deserved a high rating..... neways my opinion of this wall is that mr royaltroon took a pic of justin hayward, stuck it on a gradient background, and filtered the hell out of it, then added a little circle "doodad." and no matter who you make the wall after or dedicate it to, etc, it does not change how atractive it is.

Oookay man, I like the work, but mostly i'm a HUGE fan of the Moody Blues and Justin Hayward as well. Anyway, look forward to see more of your works now.

Love the Moody Blues...this reminds me of the video for Your Wildest Dreams. :)

I would know that profile anywhere!! I'm impressed with what you did with Mr. Hayward's image. Since I'm already a BIG fan of his and The Moody Blues I really appreciated finding your 'artwork' through Google. The cut-out look or posterization along with chosen colors, reminds me of The Other Side of Life music video. This might be silly, but did anyone else notice that the shadow of the microphone does not run over his hand, but goes underneath it? (By the way, keep looking for a good photo with the Gibson!)

Thanks mercurixx! Regarding Hayward .... I agree....a great guitarist indeed. I wasn't necessarily going for a great rating. I could have added gizmoes, and doodads, and whatzitz to the image, but it would have taken away from the subtlety. But what the hell, I'll play with it a bit more, and see what I can do to improve it.
By the way, if anyone want to see a great concert by the MB, rent the DVD of the Live from Red Rocks concert. It's just like being there, and it's pretty awesome seeing them with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
