Brilliance, as usual, but these look like a step beyond, even for you. I can't say enough good things. Very creative, different.

actually nosuprises look in the latest issue of computer arts around page 89 to see some awesome bear related art. i don't understand the purple bar in some of the versions seems messy...but the ones that don't have that element are pleasing.

Doesn't look like a bear, and the ones with the entire tree-type mess are especially messy. I can't say this deserves its rating. The look and feel is very smooth and I think that achieves its effect, but the art itself isn't where it could be.

i think this absoutely deserves its rating- i love it. It's like mixed media art, but digital. it's great. i think the tree's with the purple tape shape are actually the best part of it- there are so many interesting layers of different textures- there are green trees with sort of a puffy quality, tape, stringy lines, paper or cardboard leaves...and there seems to be almost a thin veil of like a vellum over top.
I just love texture- i seem to talk about it alot, probably bc i comment the most on work that i love, and i probably love it for having an interesting surface. i think it just brings a whole other dynamic to computer art- whereas with traditional art you can see it in its form, you can (most of the time) touch it, you can really experience it, but we have to view digital art differently- it's housed within something, even if it's printed out, so giving it a great textured quality gives it alot of life & enables the viewer to interact with it on a whole other level. this ones great- i like the white ones best *loves it*
