this could use some contrasting colors to make certain parts stand out. the 3d shape would look a lot cooler if the spikes were all the same shape and size.

would look good with a speaker built in and some speaker cable travelling to it, or an earphone jack. than that would truly have something to do with music!! nice render... maybe a softer more chrome color would work well. i like it!
