Artist's Note
block logo made fom scratch in illustrator. took some time to get the blocks right. shadows, reflections, typo in photoshop cs.

The shadows are nicely done, albeit a little offset. The lego-ish stuff itself is a bit lackluster, but it seems like an interesting exercise.

cool idea, but that reflection is off at a diffferent angle as the "lego" build of the logo and it looks like its jsut sitting on the shadow, not like the shadow is coming from the logo. Also, the angle the logo sits at on the screen doesn't fit the angle that you few the object at. Just work on those angles/perspective then it will look much better.

ya nice idea, but because of the logo and the angle youve chosen it kind looks wrong (even though it isnt!). also the reflection is completly the wrong angle :O

very interesting piece. overall style is quite nice but I suggest making the lego pieces actually buildable in real life (floating pieces kinda makes it a turn-off). I think it will make it better also if you used the angled lego pieces too :)

love this work. ummm mostly agreeable with everyone else. the shadow/reflection needs some tweaking... but you know that. i agree with Aphaits, the blocks should be a little more buildable. besides that though awesome concept! wish we had a favs section we could add out favorite works to... hmmmmm.
