I love the flooring which is similar to what I have in my home, The proportions on the right where the wall meets the floor seem to be off a bit but I know its something that you'll fix. Overall the work is good! the shading, light everything looks nice, its good.

floor seems slanted but that is probably just an illusion.

great study, but it looks like it wasn't originally meant to be a wallpaper and you just tacked on the wall to get the ratio right. fantastic renderings, as always, i just think the composition could have been a little stronger. keep 'em coming :]

the light reflecting on the ceiling and walls shows strong attention to detail and looks great. looks like theres a tad bit of seperation between the protruding corner and the floor. The 1/3 of space on the left makes a nice frame, especially for a wall. good stuff.

the wall in the middle edge seems to be hovering a little bit above the floor since there is a tad of light on the floor that shouldn't be there (at least I have that impression). I must say I like those kind of renders by you, they are quite calm and stylish - I haven't found one I _personally liked regarding composition though, this is no exeption.

this is a good boner. I think if this included a focal point. like maybe a naked woman lying on the cold hardwood floor. that would be better.

I really hope you continue with these kind of renders and studies. I love the lighting and the wood, you are getting awesome at the textures and light. Keep these up!

mirror or pixel stretch left side for dual vga boner. akka: yes, it was never really intended to be a wall, just messing around and decided it looked doable. The layout is actually taken from a built home. http://www.gypsyspacemuffin.com/dually.p
ng this "gap" between the wall and floor people are mentioning does not exist; it's light bouncing from floor to wall, the polygons actually meet and cross. All corners are exactly 90 degrees, as these are just simple boxes, so everything is indeed square. Don't want to be picky, but the assumption that I can't create squared corners and planes that cross in a modern 3d app is the same as assuming that I'm retarded.:) And any details that shadows create are a testament to the raytracer coder's skills, not mine.
