Artist's Note
this is kinda my first submission to customize.org, or any place for that matter. I wanted to keep it simple so people could give me suggestions and I could change it easily. I'd love some critisism, and some tips on how to use photoshop 6.0 if you guys have any. thx

Well for your first it works. You seem to be working on an older style. I'd say get rid of the letterbox look, maybe try this without the blurring, and the typo itself maybe try having it small in a corner with the letters closer together. These days minimal is good, but you still have to have a focal point and a point of interest in your work. Keep it up mate, don't be affraid to spend awhile on your work, there isnt any rush to submit it. Good luck.

I like it, good start :)
I wanted to add, you shouldn't try to adapt yourself to a style. Just expres yourself as it comes, this is the best way.
