Artist's Note
As requested by one person.
'Full view' holds the jpeg in the preview, but 'Download' (zip 3mb) holds the layered PSD (with 2 color variations, and without grain). Yep.
Saved with Photoshop CS (even uses a CS+ only feature, but 'maximum compatibility' is on so that's not a problem). Read the readme.txt please!

This wall was made pretty quickly (on the res of my desktop), then I showed it off in the dirty screenshot thread. Someone took notice and asked me for it, and I felt a little more generous than usual :b I didn't really finish it, but maybe you can.

This is a great idea for a wall, something reminiscent of the old style combinations, the colors match an over abundance of available skins, so there should be no problem theming around it. Great work! Even though I dont' fully agree with the open source artwork idea, this I hope will get people into being more creative by seeing what you've done to create this piece.

neat. always interesting to see how other people work. dive: if you've got photoshop, you can easily edit the canvas size, and from there, recreate the background as needed.

i've been waiting you to releases this since i saw that screenie of yours. it's wonderful although i'm disappointed in two things: 1. the grainyness 2. the size; a nicer resolution would be much better (at least 1280*1024). overall good work, don't be discouraged. i think your quest for the supreme goal of 'open souce design' is innovational. i constantly wish i had the .psd (or .xcf) file for wallpapers, it'd be soooo (and i can't stress that enough) much easier to mod them. everyone should start doing this.

pretty nice fella. i like the fact you've included a psd so we can play around with it. my only suggestion really would be the resolution, should be 1600x1200, you can always scale down, but you cant scale up!! :)

i've been using this since you submitted it yesterday, and as much as i liked this from the preview you gave us in that thread its grown on me even more. thanks especially for the .psd. this is spot on, i'm hoping to see more graphics coming from you :] (and i was curious about those knots, so thanks for including the readme too :))

I always liked walls in this style. The focal range mixed with the 2d glitch widgets... it's all nice stuff.

I'm really admiring why you did this. It's not easy to create something and allow people to claim it as their own. I'm for the whole open source art idea, but if they modify it or take elements, I think they should still give the original authors a little credit even if they are claiming the overall piece is their own.

mna this is awesome. it's quite simple, yet it's partly complex in certain areas. I love it.

I like what you have done here except the background. The grey looks like a low quality jpeg.
