I really like this. Kinda like what a 2D Mario game would look like on the Gamecube :P Will there ever be a full screen version ie 1280x1024?

really nicely done. few things though, not too sure about the scan lines, also the yellow squares dont seem quite right (think the eyes are a bit high up?), and the question mark looks a little big too. i know im really nit picking! great job.

Very nicely done! I'd like it even more if it were in 1600x1200, but it still kicks @$$ as it is.

You know what would be cool for walls like this? If the download was a zip file. And in the zip was the background as well as a handfull of small png files that are various characters from the game. Users could put goombas and other characters all over the damn thing and make it their own lil' videogame scenario. That would jive me in the right way. Also: relevant and executed in a manner that provokes my interests.
