I like this. I like how the leave almost look like they're glowing. I'de maybe add a small blur to get rid of some of that grainess. Nice work.

To me this looks like the false-color photographs taken by electron-microscopes. A version filtered to look like anime/menga with some of the extra details removed might look neat as well.
