Awesome job! The brush work you did is fantastic, and the tentacles look phenomonal. As a rule I try and stand away from red-on-green but you did an excellent job of it. Suggestions? The text either needs to be moved, removed, or touched up. It looks too rough right now (make sure you use the 'smooth' anti-aliasing setting in PS instead of 'none'). And the blood, when you look at the wallpaper zoomed out, seems to be in a very limited area. It wouldn't hurt to have some blotches randomly further away. And finally, the other backgrounds don't really work as well as the green one, so try fiddling with the other ones to make them look good too. Besides that though this is great work, keep it up.

t-t-t-t-t-t-t-tentacle tutorial! It happens to everyone at some point. And nearly everyone claims they came up with it completely independently.

I did that one back in Feb '04. I got flamed for doing the tentacles even though i gave props to the tutorial in my description. The green would be hard for me to look at all day on a wallpaper but looks like you executed the tentacles well. Keep up the effort and give us some original stuff next time!
