This should've been called pack 1.5
seeing as most of the color combos rely heavily on the original pack 01 combos.
nonetheless, I'm pretty satisfied with it :)
this pack have a sort of background concept behind it, the 'nesting instinct'
(bear with me)
everyone wants something they have or frequently use to suit to their need.
examples range from the house you live in, your desktop, even your coffee :)
reasons vary from increasing the degree of usability or accessibility, changing ingredients based on needs, or just plain sense of style.
hence, personalisation, customization.
it is that sense of modifying our surrounding, our 'nest', that pushes us to renovate our house or learning that einstein-like coding skills to change the tiniest bit of pixel detail in our 'personal' computers.
small communities created with people with the same interest, helping others with their interest and customizing needs.
but in a point after need became personality
personality became style
style became... a trend
trend
where everyone has an IKEA furniture set in their apartment with the exact same shape and colors
where 9 out of 10 guys wear pink polo shirts
where skinning is not reimagining an app anymore but following the latest mac/vista craze
where everyone's ripping off the latest thing just to be recognized.
I'm not saying my subs or myself are the shining example of customizing.
heck, this pack right now has color schemes that has been repeated several thousand times already.
but it's nice to see more people customizing toward their own personality and style,
not just blindly following trends, or even worse, ripping them.
maybe I'm just tired of all the glossy skins out there, (no offense to vista glossy lovers)
maybe I'm just mad when people rip works of awesome artists like J3 or a lot of you here frequently active in custo.
... or maybe I watched too many Fight Club reruns I don't know.
but it's just something i was thinking about when making this pack.

while Pack 01 is a more of a test run, I've made Pack 02 into a more personal color scheme.

Congrats for the longest description I've ever seen, and these colors rock!!! ... latte mocha de creme (the brown one) has some issues though, the background isn't smooth, not sure why that is.

holy frickin long comment post batman, apologies to all :P (update:) 1 pack left nylons... 1 pack left. lol aerosolfun (update:) definitely the longest one i've ever made :P hmm maybe it's the jpeg compression, didn't notice it before, was afraid if I did PNG it will be heavy on the download side. (update) apparently it's the 3d lighting setup, highly visible on dark themes, but if I crank up the lighting setup, my laptop will run away from home crying :P
