Looks more like a 24th Century computer as envisioned in the 80s to me, but I'm not much of a Star Trek fan so maybe it's supposed to.

Ehhh I think the TNG computers look a little more future-ish and a little less 1983ish...lol
The font is right though :P
Plus the middle thing makes for a good hideaway for the icons..
