Artist's Note
It’s the year 2091......
after much reconsideration by the athorities a 1 million dolor upgrade has been completed on the mechwarrior exhibit....
It’s the 2091 and the world is at peace.... colonisation of mars is underway and space travel has become a reality with the invention of antigravity..... after 40 years on continuos war of all the nations the combined technology has progressed to a state where everyone is able to live like a king and petty disputes are none existent... now is the time for expanding the human race…..
This scene is just an idea I had… and the mech was from my first attempt at texturing polys… this is my second attempt… personally I think I’m getting better…. I’d like to thank voodoostyle for being an inspiration to get started in 3D and for giving me a nudge in the right direction whenever I needed it.
This is 100% pure render from MAYA
1st in a new series…

well you deffinately did put a lot of creativity into this, love the background story =]. Looks like you need a little work on your textures but you are deffinately getting there, keep at it.

Holy Valles Marineris, Batman! Personally, I plan to run a ski resort in Mamers Valles. I'd like it more if the bubble was smooth like the tunnel, rather than made up of little clear squares. The color combination of the yellowish planet and pink station doesn't work too well.

If this is the first in a series, I look froward to seeing more of this creative work. Nice use of colour and texture.
